Welcome to the 2009 shortlist.

The standard of entry was higher than ever before, making the judges' job very difficult indeed.

But after a whole morning of deliberating and discussing the entries, CRN's panel of judges have selected the contenders for each category.

This really was an exceptional year with more entries than ever before, so to have made it to the shortlist stage is a real achievement in itself.
