Pastures new: Interactive Ideas' new office will allow it to double staff numbers

Interactive Ideas gets new HQ

Distributor buys new Enfield hub and aims for further growth and international expansion

Written by Sam Trendall

After impressive sales growth in the past two years, distributor Interactive Ideas has splashed out on new office space which will enable it to double its headcount.

The software and peripherals specialist has bought property close to its existing Enfield headquarters. The new office includes enough room to increase staff numbers from 50 to 100. There is also space to implement an in-house training facility and a 20,000 sq ft warehouse and logistics centre.

Interactive Ideas announced its intention to move to bigger premises two months ago, following revenue growth of 46 per cent in its last fiscal year. The distributor claims to have doubled in size in the past two years and managing director Mike Trup revealed he wants to replicate that success.

“We have had three very strong years of growth and have some very demanding goals going forward," he said. "We firmly believe we can more than double the size of the company again within the next two years.

"This new building and our hiring plans will allow us to build both our product and our services offerings. In addition, we have exciting plans for international expansion and joint ventures that will allow us to scale our operations rapidly and profitably, providing enhanced levels of coverage and service to our vendors.”
