Distributor Interactive Ideas has expanded its management team to drive sales of the SolarWinds application management product portfolio in Germany.

The firm has appointed Michael Meyer, a former employer at German IT firm INSOS Gmbh, to oversee the sales initiative.

In his role as SolarWinds account manager Germany, Meyer will be responsible for training resellers interested in specialising in the software solution.

Mike Trup, managing director at Interactive Ideas, said: “The strength of our training, customer education and channel support combined with SolarWinds’ widely recognised reputation for quality and value has proved a winning combination. And now, we are excited about the opportunity to expand that success into the German markets.”

Justin Endres, vice president of international sales at SolarWinds, said: “Interactive Ideas, through their outstanding sales support and addition of Michael Meyer, will help ensure that resellers in the German markets can confidently promote SolarWinds network and application management solutions and will continue to promote our growth and momentum in the German market.”
