Hayley Mooney swaps Crayon UK for a return to Bytes
Mooney returns to Bytes as CCO after 12 years away
Crayon UK managing director Hayley Mooney is leaving the Nordic-based MSP for a return to Bytes Technology Group as its chief commercial officer.
Mooney tells CRN she will start her new role in July and is "enjoying some garden leave with the family" for now.
She has spent almost three years heading up Crayon's UK business as managing director.
She first joined the Nordic group in 2018 as channel and cloud director until being promoted to MD in 2021.
Mooney is making her return to Bytes 12 years after leaving the VAR in 2012. At the time she had spent five and a half years at Bytes, reaching the level of head of solutions.
"We are thrilled to welcome Hayley into the team later this year," said Bytes MD Jack Watson.
"Her visionary approach, strategic mindset, and passion for excellence align perfectly with our company's values and objectives. We are confident that her appointment will propel us to new heights and reinforce our position as an industry leader."
Crayon CEO Melissa Mulholland shared news of Mooney's departure in a LinkedIn post.
"I wanted to take this moment to give my heartfelt thanks to Hayley Mooney for her contributions to Crayon. I am so proud of her, as she's been able to grow her career and create a positive impact on the UK team," Mulholland said.
In a statement to CRN Mooney said: "I've loved my time at Crayon and I'm looking forward to the next chapter with Bytes. For now, I'm enjoying some garden leave with the family."
