Kashya launches VAR programme
Vendor looking to expand its business operations
Data protection vendor Kashya has launched a European-wide channel partner programme, as part of efforts to expand its business operations.
Kashya told CRN that its Synergy Partner Programme has been designed to enable storage resellers to create high-value and high-demand enterprise data protection solutions through the programme’s partner support, deal registration, promotions and initiatives.
Sebastian Darrington, director of European sales at Kashya UK, said: “This announcement will help us to further push into Europe and the UK. We want to keep channel partners to a relative amount, with another five to 10 in the UK, and however many it takes to gain penetration into Europe.”
The Synergy Partner Programme also aims to provide support over four main areas: Demand Creation, a programme for lead generation and qualification; Support, consisting of a Kashya channel assistance team; Solutions, a Kashya-developed sales approach focused on addressing enterprise environment problems; and Tools, a set of sales and training tools for partners.
Paul Reeve, divisional director for storage networking at Kashya distributor Acal, said : “We encourage it [the programme], provided the benefits are real. It will be an advantage, as long as it doesn’t create too much competition for sales.”
