Growth in a cold climate
How is the economic slowdown affecting the channel and what steps are you taking to get your company out of the recession?
The past six months have been filled with messages of doom from the national press about the state of the UK economy.
However despite the gloom, many channel firms are keeping their heads down and are concentrating on getting through the difficult times. There are even pockets of good news, which people are keen to shout about.
The majority of vendors remain supportive of the channel, and many are ploughing resources into their partner programmes and are doing their best to stimulate leads.
Consolidation is happening in the channel on a regular basis, but this is creating stronger companies with a more aggressive attitude to growth.
No one is over confident about the future, but in the same vein, no-one is overly pessimistic about the year either.
