Epson, the printer vendor, told PC Squealer about the regular brainstorming sessions that used to take place at its Australian offices - how best to advertise its twin-head printers (colour and black and white) against its competitors' single-head machines. Some ideas for slogans that came out in that fun, healthy informal Aussie way that we know only too well from blockbusting soaps (of which there are too many to mention) include: 'Two heads are better than one' and the less innocent 'Epson gives twice as much head'. This was only a brainstorming session, you understand. The Australian printer buying population was spared its blushes in the end.
