Conferencing vendor wants to double its VAR numbers

Conferencing vendor Interwise is looking to double its reseller ranks with the launch of the latest version of its Interwise Connect application.

Tony Gasson, vice-president of Europe at Interwise, said: “We have a small direct sales team, plus 10 resellers and referral partners in the UK. We’d like to double this to 20 partners.”

Gasson said the vendor is looking for system integrators that have an interest in voice over IP, as well as networking partners.

“We want resellers to accelerate the number of conversations we’re having with senior level people at enterprises,” he said.

Paul Thompson, chief executive of reseller PFI Knowledge Solutions, said: “We have been using Interwise’s products for nearly three years now. We have had a good working relationship with it. The only downside is Interwise doesn’t tend to generate leads for the channel and potential resellers might expect that.”
