Now I get IT

The notoriously arcane tech industry can be a nightmare for acronym-phobes. The constant barrage of new terms can be dizzying. I, for one, find it hard to know my VPNs from my 2FAs and my LANs, WANs and SANs from my iSCSIs.

So I was delighted this week to receive a communiqué from distribution giant Arrow that finally cleared up the meaning of one troublesome term.

UK boss Steve Pearce outlined how his firm is all about "delivering end-to-end solutions to meet customers' IT (information technology) needs".

No way. Is that what it's stood for all these years? I always though it was just, like, "it" in big letters.

Maybe I've found someone who can finally tell me what a PC is?
