Public enemy

I was speaking to a reseller buddy of mine who revealed his exasperation with the habits of some of his customers.

My pal works predominantly in the public sector, but seemingly has little respect for the good men and women in the employ of our government. He told me of one local council employee who puts a sign on his desk during his lunch break. He can now peruse Facebook in peace, saved from the hassle of having to tell people he's on lunch.

My channel chum claimed that, despite being a director, it isn't beneath him to make the coffee, unload lorries and do various other bits of grunt work.

"Like me, you probably do the work of half a dozen people," he opined. "In the public sector, they need 12 employees to cover six people's workload."

It's not all bad. A dozen people will all need surprisingly cost-intensive firewalls.
