There was more bad news for channel employers this week, as figures from recruitment specialist CV Screen revealed IT salaries have gone up by two per cent in the past year.

The firm's director Matthew Iveson noted that: "confidence has returned to the IT jobs market over the last 12 months."

The number of applicants has also risen by an average of 36 per cent per position.
Well, this is fantastic. Only the other day I was thinking that, between my family and my employees, I just don't come into contact with enough halfwits with an entitlement complex and an inflated sense of self-worth.
