Robo chop
Imagine my delight upon learning that the human race's complete thralldom to robot masters inched closer this week.
In the past I've written about robots developed to fulfil a variety of roles, including teaching and modeling. But the I, Robot restaurant in China's Guangxi province may have topped the lot with their two robot chefs.
All dishes at the eatery will be prepared by the automatons and manager Huang Xianghou told the Wuzhou Daily his new cooks were more efficient and hygienic and complained less than human counterparts. Although, sadly, he still needs fleshy underlings to wash and chop the veg.
Hygienic, efficient and uncomplaining? If they make one that can extol the virtues of software-as-a-service, my whole sales desk will be out on their ear.
