Business Club hangover
I would like to personally thank Graeme Watt from Avnet, Alex Tatham from Westcoast, Anthony Young from Demuto and Jon Thorpe from acs for my awful hangover today. The blame rests squarely with them.
However, hangover aside, the third CRN Business Club went well last night with an interesting talk on Leadership from Peter Grundy, managing director of The Partnership. There were some interesting points raised around the room as we compared the leadership styles of Tony Hayward (looks nothing like the European president of a certain large distributor) and Willie Walsh.
Everyone seemed to have a good evening and the port was flowing well at the end of the night.
But it is not the best way to start a Friday I have to say.
We have quite a busy few days coming up this month and our next event is the CRN Race Day on Monday.
I am particularly excited as I've found out I'm presenting the prize to the best dressed horse (or something like that). I just hope the weather holds as I don't fancy trudging through a muddy paddock in dress and heels!
I'm going to study the racing times to get some tips for Monday and actually try and win some money back!
For those of you going - see you there.
