Missing cat (update)

I had a few calls yesterday after I posted about my 18-year-old cat going missing, so I thought I'd keep you updated.

After knocking on a few doors, she was found safe in my neighbour's summerhouse, thinner than ever, but dry and warm. I took her home, gave her food and thought she would be there for the night.

But this morning she had gone again and is back in the summerhouse.

I think that is her way of telling me that she is now wanting to live next door and doesn't want to come home.

Sadly I don't think she is going to be around for much longer - so as long as she is happy living in the summerhouse, and being fed on location - that is where she will stay.

I'm lucky that my neighbour is a cat lover with several of his own, and he is happy for her to stay there as long as she needs.

Proves the point that you never own a cat.
