Bono bother
ISP Entanet has slammed U2 frontman Bono for his comments on illegal file sharing.
I think the thing that really got Entanet's head of marketing Darren Farnden's goat was when Bono said in a newspaper column the only beneficiaries to illegal file sharing were the "rich service providers, whose swollen profits perfectly mirror the lost receipts of the music business". Miaow!
Farnden says that multi-millionaire Bono "should stick to singing and campaigning for poorer nations and leave the economics of Internet service provision to the professionals."
Saucer of milk for table 5?
A definite case of handbags at dawn I think.
I'm looking forward to Bono's comeback!
