Quiet please

I had a very amusing train journey home yesterday.

Having a bit of a headache - I decided to sit in the quiet coach so I didn't have to listen to people's loud and pointless conversations that quite frankly could wait until they got home.

Just as we were about to set off - me and my quiet coach counterparts - I'm getting to know a few of them by sight now after 18 months travelling on my line - were settling down for a pleasant and quiet journey.

In walks this girl - phone glued to ear - shouting "I've had a REALLY STRESSFUL day!" And obviously sits in the seat in front of me. Where else?

Most people let this go because the train hadn't started moving yet and her conversation came to a halt.

Then the train continued on its way and her phone rang. She proceeded to tell her caller in a very loud voice about her stressful day. Just as I was about to tap her on the shoulder a guy from the row of seats behind me stormed over to her, waves his hand in front of her face - slams his hand on the window near the quiet coach sign, and shouts "NOW SHUT UP!"

She soon shut up!
