More misery

Following on from yesterday's miserable people theme I had a fun journey to work today.

The train was packed and I had to ask a man to move his coat, bag, files etc off the seat next to him so I could sit down.

I did feel bad that his bag had to go in the luggage rack for which it was designed but this guy was fuming! As usual he was from the 50-60 year age bracket of businessman - which I actually find the rudest of them all - they never offer their seats to pregnant women or old people and they are supposed to come from the era of chivalry!

Anyway I switched on my iPod as usual - checking that the volume wasn't too loud because I hate hearing other people's tinny music through their headphones - and went to sleep.

Well tried to - this guy shook my arm and asked me to 'turn down the volume', before glaring at me on and off for the rest of the journey.

What pleasant fellow he was. I'm sure his work colleagues love him - especially at Christmas parties.
