Happy days

It is all too easy to get bogged down in misery - whether it is the economy or in fact the weather.

But an interesting survey I read today revealed that almost half the 1,000 respondents polled by networking giant Cisco believed miserable employees should be removed from an organisation.

Nobody wants to work opposite or alongside a misery and customers certainly don't want to deal with them. Smiles are infectious apparently - although anyone travelling on public transport is immune from this theory.

So cheer up everybody - Spring is nearly here and the national press might soon stop banging on about the recession and actually report about something positive.
