Hard Cheese

I have just been out for a quick bite to eat with the CRN team which was a pleasant way to spend a Friday lunchtime.

However the establishment we visited was a little lacking to say the least.

We looked at the food menu and on it was a portion of chips. Now in my wisdom I decided to ask them if they could possibly throw some cheddar cheese on top of said chips to make - yes you guessed it - cheesy chips.

Unfortunately the guy behind the bar looked at me as if I was something on his shoe and told me in no uncertain terms that "we cannot do that as it is not on the menu".

One of my colleagues jokingly said I would pay £50 extra if he could get me some cheese.

Blank look.

I repeated whether someone in their kitchen would be able to get a small handful of grated cheese intended for another dish, and maybe accidentally drop it on top of my chips.

"We don't have cheese in the kitchen" was the reply.

Crikey and I thought customer service was dead.
