Not again?

Another disk containing sensitive personal information has been lost.

This time it contains the names, salaries, national insurance numbers and bank account numbers of about 2,000 British Council staff.

I would think there are some very worried people out there at the moment - there is a remote possibility the disk has not fallen into the wrong hands and is simply lost - but there is always that risk.

How on earth does this keep happening?

I cannot believe that with the high profile given to these incidents every time it happens, companies have not tightened up their security procedures to stop this happening.
