Googling the channel

I had this all written yesterday - but unfortunately I suffered a 'technical glitch' and have had to write it a day late now.

Google's 'Google Apps' channel announcement yesterday was an interesting one and I think it will have some Microsoft executives feeling a little hot under the collar.

Until now, Microsoft has had no real competition in the channel, but Google is its biggest nemesis and as Quocirca's service director Bob Tarzey says on a blog for our sister site Computing.co.uk, this could push a lot more resellers Google's way (willingly or unwillingly) which could see some interesting tactics from both vendors emerge.
