Cheeky

I was out at a very informal business lunch the other day (it is a hard life but someone has to do it) and the meal went without a hitch - or any insects appearing in any form, which was a relief.
However when it came to the bill we had a slight disagreement with the price said restaurant was charging for a simple piece of bread. It was actually higher prices than Zimbabwe and almost required a second mortgage. Well, maybe I am exaggerating a little.
But my dining colleague made a remark to the manager, who begrudgingly took the bread off the bill.
However he told my fellow diner that he was 'extremely cheeky' to say anything about the cost. "I think you are extremely cheeky," he said before flouncing off.
I think the guy needs to go on a customer service course pronto.
