Apprentice Epstein back in at Masternaut

Firm takes him back after TV stint (but didn't they make him redundant in the first place?)

I had to do a double-take just now when a press release plopped into my inbox from Leeds-based Masternaut, which has rehired Apprentice wannabe Alex Epstein.

Famous for his 'unusual' approach to each task, Epstein was stabbed in the back good and proper by plastic faced Laura and was duly fired by Lord Sugar a couple of weeks ago.

He was definitely an entertaining character during the show, but my God could he spout some serious BS.

According to the press release and Masternaut managing director Martin Port - Lord Sugar was "completely wrong" and "missed out on an opportunity to hire a highly talented, skilled marketeer".

We won't mention his insistence on getting the best pitch at the Trafford Centre during the fashion challenge (which was probably the worst place to stand) or his wonderful demonstrations of his Cuuli beach towel/drink cooler combo.

Best of luck to him I say.
