The Apprentice - Week 8

Winners and losers revealed - don't read if you haven't watched it

The pointy finger of Lord Sugar yet again was aimed at the wrong person on The Apprentice last night - but this is purely because the person in question failed to stab his colleague in the back and save his own skin.

Poor Christopher, the nice guy of the bunch, made the biggest error of the day by turning down a 9am appointment in favour of a 1pm one, which gave his rival team the advantage and secured them a €5,000 order.

Jamie, who until now has been one of my favourites, for a reason known only to himself, made Christopher change the appointment to 1pm after initially agreeing 9am.

The task was to sell crisps to German organisations after coming up with their own flavours.

Christopher (he of the Octi-clean ad fame) said in his post-show interview that there was nothing wrong with being nice in business - and I do agree - being nice gets you a long way - but that shouldn't be at the expense of sticking up for yourself either - especially if it was someone else's mistake.

But it is plastic-faced Laura I have to turn to again. I really cannot stand that thing - she is a nasty, back-stabbing piece of work who in reality hasn't got a shred of common sense or business acumen in her body.

To waltz into a German company and speak English that was difficult for an English person to understand - let alone a German person whose first language is not English - is unacceptably rude and ignorant and reflective of the person herself.

She has tantrums like a two-year old and frankly deserves a slap. A hard, dry one.

If she doesn't go soon I will throw something through the TV - I cannot wait to see her fired.

Stuart 'The Brand' Baggs was a classic again, declaring himself 'knackered' after the last task. Bless. He is now going to be known as Herr Baggs.....

Quality TV again and I cannot wait for next week.

I still think Liz or Stella are going to win. Jamie has a way to go before he redeems himself.
