The car's the star
Dave finds out why Eugene Kaspersky and Enzo Ferrari are cut from the same cloth. Sort of.
I was intrigued to learn that Kaspersky Lab has sponsored the Scuderia Ferrari Formula One team.
I was even more interested to read the anti-virus vendor's PR bods seemed to think the two brands are a good fit. It seems both firms have "the same desire for excellence in everything they do" (as opposed to mediocrity or outright inadequacy, I assume). They're also both "world famous for their technological innovations". Apparently.
"Another similarity the companies share is the fact they both bear the names of their founders," said the press guff.
"Eugene Kaspersky and Enzo Ferrari are innovators and overachievers."
Good point. I've also noticed that both firms have customers and employees, sell products and feature consonants and vowels in their name. Spooky.
