The Apprentice - Week 10

An unbelievable outcome has left me stunned

I am still in shock that Liz has gone from The Apprentice after a shockingly desperate performance from Stuart 'The Brand' Baggs.

He spouted such levels of BS I'm amazed they could all still breathe in the boardroom - for example - 'I'm not a one trick pony - I have a field of them', 'I will make you millions'......and his plea for Lord Sugar to 'harness him'.

I would harness him all right - but it wouldn't be the kind of harness he was thinking of.

Poor Liz didn't stand a chance in the boardroom against him - despite her excellent track record - she had the finger of doom pointed at her.

The task last night was to run a London Tour Bus company for a day and as ever the programme was packed full of entertainment and some absolute gems.

Jamie in particular made me laugh with his intelligent observations - ie the face of Big Ben was '20 diameters' in width (eh?), 'the building over there that looks like a gherkin is called.....the gherkin', and the best one of the evening - 'To your left is the River Thames - the second largest river in London'.

I'm still trying to find out what the largest river is in London now.

Joanna let herself down by nagging constantly at Jamie - I would actually have swung for her - so I admire his self control.

Stuart engaged in some ridiculous ploys to steal business away from his rival team and was called a fantastic name by Chris which I cannot repeat but which rhymes with sat that. I think he got away lightly though.

Liz and Stella performed solidly - although I have to say I would rather stick pins in my eyes than go on a 'Cockney Tour of London' with Stella....YAWN.

I am hoping that Lord Sugar chose Baggs to go through so we could all enjoy the spectacle of him being ripped apart in the next programme at the interview stage.

I am actually looking forward to that more than anything.
