The Apprentice - Week 11
Do you think you are a fish?
What compulsive viewing The Apprentice was last night.
Warning - if you have not yet seen it - do not read any further!
Brand Baggs finally got his comeuppance after Lord Sugar realised the mistake he made last week in firing Liz - we could all have told him that days ago.
The candidates were put through four of the most awful, probing interviews - which exposed some tender points and also a few holes in the claims they had made about themselves.
Baggs was exposed by the channel's own Bordan Tkachuk, who spotted a hole in his CV and went for the jugular. The Viglen boss certainly wouldn't let his point go until he had exposed the truth (and the fact that Baggs was telling porkies) which was hilarious.
However the best line of the night was Claude Littner who said to the Baggs - 'You think you are a big fish. You are not a big fish. You are not even a fish."
I intend to use that line at some point in my life.
No field of ponies were able to save The Brand in the boardroom last night as the finger of doom pointed his way and he was forced to do the walk of shame.
However I have to say I think he did a great job of saving his skin on the aftershow with Dara O'Briain and actually came across very well. I think he will go far. On the Isle of Mann.
Jamie and Joanna also came under fire - Joanna actually had some praise from the finger pointer himself, and Jamie was told he had started well, but gone downhill in subsequent weeks.
So we are left with Stella (one of my favourites from the outset) and Chris in the final. He was definitely the dark horse of the competition and I cannot wait to see how they get on on Sunday - not that long to wait.
I wouldn't like to say who will win - but I will stick with my original choice and back Stella all the way.
