2011 is upon us and it is a busy year ahead

Happy New Year!

I hope you all had a great Christmas - I certainly did after receiving a Kindle from Santa. I was a little dubious about the Kindle to start with - but now I find it hard to put down.

Being an avid reader of books, but having very little space left to store said books, I have been controlling my book buying urges for a while now - so it is great to finally be able to unleash the urges, buy a load of them and not have to worry about where to put them once read.

Anyway I digress!

2011 is going to be a challenging year, as one of our first stories of the year about Dataplex reveals - there is talk of more consolidation and administrations to come.

But I'm going to do my best to remain positive and am definitely interested in hearing as much positive news as possible.

The channel had a relatively steady 2010, some players even managed record growth, so I would definitely like more of the same.

Being negative is absolutely no help in this economic climate, and the national press is relaying enough doom and gloom for all of us.
