Meerkat Harborough

Please join the campaign to change my home town Market Harborough to Meerkat Harborough

Now I wouldn't normally blog about something like this but there is a growing campaign to change my home town - Market Harborough - to Meerkat Harborough and twin it with the famous talking meerkat Alexandr Orlov (pictured).

Despite some nimbys saying the idea - which would see it twinned with Orlov's town of Meerkovo - is 'far too commercial' - a lot of us Harborough-dwellers think it would be a fantastic idea.

We need all the help we can get.
