Royal Wedding fever

If 24-hour media coverage is just not enough check this out....

I'm ever-so-grateful to HRH Prince William and Kate Middleton for getting married this Friday - two four day weekends in a row is absolute bliss!

Doesn't help with our deadlines too much, mind.

I think this Royal Wedding lark is great for the country and will give it a much needed boost. I'm very pleased for the pair of them as well - wishing them a lifetime of happiness together.

But is the news today that people can follow their every move through the use of the iDO Android App - too much?

With this app you can apparently track the position of the couple at any point during the day looking at hand drawn maps by artist Katherine Baker.

I think I can help you a bit with that - morning - on way to church (see great big procession through central London), wedding time - actually in the church getting married (again resort to TV coverage in any home, pub, venue), after wedding - travelling back to Buck Palace in another great big procession, evening - having a damn big party at Buck Palace to celebrate the day.

It also lets you plot your own position if you are lucky/crazy (delete as appropriate) enough to be there, giving you public transport details throughout the day so you can ensure you are in the best possible place.

Although I think you might find moving around on the day quite difficult - there might just be a few other people there in your way.

Naturally this app also lets you plug straight into Twitter and ensure you don't miss a single post by random people commenting on the dress, the procession, how dashing and handsome Prince William looks etc etc etc

Personally I'll just stick to watching a wedding roundup on that good old fashioned contraption - the TV.
