Is one exec trying to keep his true calling in life a secret?

Writing this with a slightly sore head this morning after the CRN Business Club last night which saw a selection of channel movers and shakers in one room doing what they do best.

Networking before you ask.

This quarter we had the added bonus of a magician who wowed the audience with his range of amazing, and quite scary tricks and mind reading abilities.

I really could not see how he did them or how he appeared to know exactly what people were thinking.

But the most amusing part of the evening was when one person sat at our table (who shall remain nameless) said to another - have you ever seen that famous magician Alex Tatham?

The person being asked the question was none other than the channel's own Alex Tatham who appeared perplexed that his secret second job had been found out.

Unfortunately he wouldn't show us any tricks.

I've looked up 'Alex Tatham the magician' and can't find anyone fitting that description.

Has anyone else ever heard of him?

Or had the questioner had a little too much wine and got the name slightly wrong?
