This article about an Aussie being banned for drink driving a beer cooler made me smile

I'm desperately looking for some cheery news today as it seems to be sadly lacking at the moment.

So I was delighted when I found this article on Sky News about a guy that has been banned from driving for 10 months, after being caught over the limit while driving his beer-cooler bike.

He had just finished putting his creation together - literally a cool-box on wheels - and decided to take it for a quick spin. Unfortunately for him the police were waiting round the corner and booked him for being drunk in charge.

This bike would be a great gimmick at the Channel Awards - and a quick way of getting between the tables, holding 48 bottles of beer. Might be interesting in an evening dress as well.

Now being a biker myself I'd love to give this 50cc machine a try - it would certainly turn a few heads.

I don't advocate drink driving in any way - but this brings a new meaning to the phrase i think.

Now who fancies building a channel version?!
