Tesco iPad blunder

Every little doesn't help

I had to laugh when I read about the recent Tesco iPad 3 (pictured) blunder which saw it advertise Apple's shiny new tablet online for just £49.99 instead of the expected £500 price tag.

But what was even funnier was the sense of outrage by 'customers' who had rushed to snap up the tablet before the blunder was discovered.

Now a group of them have started up an online petitionto try and force the supermarket giant to honour the agreement.

With idiotic postings such as "I won't my iPad that I rightfully purchased and paid for" and "I've brought five - one for each member of my family" - the mentality of the people protesting is laid bare for all to see. Durrrr.

Maybe before being let loose with a credit card - some of these people should have made sure they can read and write basic English.

They obviously haven't heard of the saying "If it seems too good to be true then it probably is".

However M&S was forced to back down in a similar case when accidentally advertised Panasonic 50-inch HD TVs for £199.

It will be interesting to see what happens.
