Brand new Channelweb launches today
Come in, have a look around and let us know what you think
Today marks a new era for Channelweb as we launch our new-look site.
Our aim is fairly straightforward - to offer a streamlined, engaging and easy-to-navigate platform for our news, analysis and industry views, and hopefully an improved experience for our readers and clients.
The site has been purposely designed to be cleaner, and more aesthetically pleasing to the readers' eyes.
Designed from the ground up, the site is fully responsive and works on any screen from a PC to a tablet, laptop to a smartphone.
Several of our sister sites at Incisive Media have already gone through a similar redesign process and have moved to a responsive platform and the results have been extremely positive with both traffic and reader engagement increasing significantly. Of course we are hoping for a similar result with Channelweb.
We have also made it easier to keep on top of our ever-growing events programme, including the Sales & Marketing Awards, CRN Fight Night and the Channel Awards and the growing number of conferences CRN UK and our sister site Channelnomics are hosting this year.
Of course research is also playing an increasingly important role at CRN, and we have exciting new layouts for our flagship products Top VARs and the CRN A-list, and our many other reports and research will also become more visible on this site.
Another slight change is that our news output will be free to air for 24 hours, and our more in-depth articles, which take our editorial team time and effort to produce will be behind our existing registration wall that is free to all and very simple to fill out.
Once you are registered, that is it, access to all our content is unlimited.
If you are just quickly visiting the site to have a look around, but see something you want to read later, you can now personalise the site and save your favourite articles in the 'my account' section to read at your leisure
There will undoubtedly be other developments to this site as time goes on, but I hope you are as pleased with it as we are, and I would love to hear what you think about it. Please do get in touch.
