A message from the editor
CRN is moving monthly
2017 has started with a bang for CRN, with a new team structure, new focus and an imminent move to a new, monthly print format.
As many of you will have already read, Sara Yirrell decided to step back as editorial director of CRN and its sister brands Channelnomics and Channelnomics Europe at the end of 2016.
Although Sara will thankfully be staying on as a consultant editor, the team is being reshuffled, with Hannah Breeze stepping up to deputy editor and me becoming editor of CRN.
In my new capacity, I am delighted to announce that CRN is moving to a glossy new monthly format from February, a move that is perhaps long overdue.
CRN has been published fortnightly since 2013, but it always felt like an awkward half-way house between a weekly title crammed with news and a monthly providing more in-depth content.
The redesign will also allow us to refresh our line-up of regular features, with the likes of Readers Lives and Good Times Bad Times set to make way for more reflective content that will stay current for longer.
We will continue to be the only UK B2B title with a physical magazine, which we believe as the market leader is important for the brand.
As ever, we will continue to break news on channelweb.co.uk and through our CRN Live app, available on iOS or Android.
But we also promise to bring you more big interviews with top industry executives, more in-depth research and analysis - as well as a couple of exciting new events - in 2017.
On behalf of the CRN editorial team, I wish you a prosperous year.
