Welcome to CRN's Women in the Channel hub.
Just 10 per cent of the UK's biggest 50 resellers are run by women, and only 14 per cent of people on those companies' boards are female.
With this in mind, CRN has spoken to many of the leading women in the channel to find out why they are in such a minority and what can be done to welcome more women into the industry.
Throughout September and beyond, this hub will be filled with features, analysis pieces and interviews with the industry's top women, culimating in the publication of a list of the top women leading the UK channel.
Further, we take an alternative view and examine whether the "women in..." concept is outdated, and actually patronises the women who have become successful in the industry.
