Vendors, distributors and resellers will be thrown into a dilemma next week when the voting forms for The Channel Awards 1998 hit the streets.
In its fifth year, The Channel Awards 1998 - organised by PC Dealer - will be the highlight of the calendar year for anyone involved in reselling and supplying IT products. The awards ceremony will be held at The London Hilton on Park Lane on 3 November.
There will be 15 awards, with categories for distributors and resellers to win in specific areas, and vendors to pick up prizes for their technology products.
There is also the coveted top award for PC Dealer Business Distributor of the Year.
Paula Barnes, publisher of PC Dealer, said: 'It is always difficult for companies to make up their mind on who to vote for. I don't envy anyone having to make this choice as there are a lot of worthy winners out in the industry.'
The voting forms, which will be in PC Dealer next week, have to be returned by 30 September.
The awards are regulated by the independent authority ABC, which will ensure that no companies vote for themselves.
