What do you love most about the IT industry? The whole dynamics of the industry. The constant change. The people who work in it.

What is the biggest technology trend you anticipate in the next 12 months? Convergence and consolidation.
What is the one thing working in the technology industry has taught you? Don't stand still for a second.
Where do you think the channel will be in five years time? Convergence will continue to drive further consolidation, particularly in the mid market. The channel will continue acquire the skill and capabilities needed to meet and drive customer needs. I see the channel getting stronger and increasing it dominance over the next few years.
Which do you think is the most influential vendor in the UK? It still has to be Microsoft. However, it doesn't always use its influential position in a positive way.
Which do you think is the most influential ISV in the UK? For me Gresham Computing for Real Time Nostro.

How do you unwind or spend your spare time? Spend time with my family. I coach rugby and still play occasionally. Painting (pictures not houses). Fly fishing. Canoeing.
