Top ten UK vendors revealed

clock

CRN is finally able to reveal the vendors that made the top ten in our 2014 Vendor Report. They may come as a surprise.

After several months of suspense we are able to reveal our top ten vendor list as per the results of our 2014 CRN Vendor Survey.

In total 50 vendors are featured in the report, but there are a few names missing from that top ten that most would expect to be there. So where did they come?

The results have been compiled completely independently following research among over 350 VARs, integrators, MSPs and hosting/cloud specialists across the UK, and only those vendors that managed to gain a certain number of channel partner responses were allowed to feature in the final report.

Vendors were scored on seven different aspects of service: Product Quality, Account Management and Staff, Accreditation and Training, After-sales and Technical Support, Overall Service, Rebates and Margin Retention.

Resellers were invited to comment freely on the vendors in the list, and the results are some of the most frank and honest feedback any vendor will receive from their channel partners.

Of course the comments are anonymous, because we wanted channel partners to have the freedom to say what they really feel without the threat of repercussions. As you will see – the top ten vendors might be a surprise to some, but they are there because their channel strategy resonates the most with partners, and makes them feel valued.

It may well leave some of the larger, more established players wondering where they went wrong. And more importantly give them some suggestions as to where they can improve.
