Under the terms of the agreement, Kingston Technology’s DataTraveler Locker and DRam products will be available in Staples stores in selected countries across Europe, including the UK.
The two firms are flying in the face of the credit crunch by offering products that they claim will help cash strapped consumers prolong the life of their IT equipment.
Paul Leaman, European retail director of Kingston Technology, said: “We are extremely pleased to have signed this deal with such a well known and respected retail outlet as Staples. We look forward to developing our relationship further.”
Daniel Lowans, Category Director for Technology, Staples, said: “We select vendors’ products to stock in our stores based on reputation, quality and technology and for this reason, it is great to add Kingston Technology to our portfolio. The Kingston Technology DT Locker and DRam memory will be a great addition to our product offering.”
