Online backup and recovery software vendor BackupAgent has launched a formal programme to help partners increase sales.
The BackupAgent Partner Programme works on the basis that the more sales partners generate and the more knowledge they acquire, the higher the status gained.
The programme has four partner levels: Registered Partner, Silver Partner, Gold Partner and Platinum Partner. All levels of partnership have access to the BackupAgent partner portal.
The portal provides partners with sales and technical information on the vendor’s software. Depending on partner status, resellers can also receive free product training and use of the BackupAgent logo.
Roland Sars, director marketing at BackupAgent, said: “With this new programme we offer partners structured support on various levels. They can, for example, attend product training or use our partner portal.
“This results in a win win situation: partners can provide customers with special offers, technical support and advice. In this way, they increase their turnover and that of BackupAgent. This upward spiral can be continued up to the highest partnership level.”
