VAR Bear IT is targeting further expansion after capping a successful 2008 by moving to new premises.
The firm’s staff numbers rose from 11 to 13 last year and managing director Adam Harris said that figure could rise to 20 by the end of 2009. The reseller remains in Nottingham but has moved to offices three times the size of its previous home.
Harris indicated he was considering opening offices in Leicester and Sheffield over the coming months. He also singled out winning an award from the Institute of Directors as a highlight of 2008.
“The key last year was retaining existing customers and we worked with them closely to demonstrate return on investment,” he said.
“In the current economic climate, everyone needs to be more opportunistic and a bit more dynamic.”
