There has been a further shake up in Acer’s distribution channel, after the vendor signed an agreement with Micro Peripherals today, just weeks after signing VIP to its roster and also ending an agreement with Midwich.
Acer said it will use the agreement with Micro P to help it target the SME sector. Semmy Levit, Acer UK country manager, said: “Micro Peripherals will play a pivotal role in consolidating Acer’s presence in the SME and education markets, and we are very pleased about this partnership”
Mike Alden, a representative from Micro-Peripherals, said: “We are very excited by our launch with Acer. The synergy between the Acer and Micro-Peripherals strategies on the SME sector will both strengthen and complement our offering towards our customer base.”
