NEC is holding a number of roadshows across the UK this week to enable resellers to preview 18 new NEC products before they hit the market.
Simeon Joseph, product manager for NEC’s business equipment division, said: “We are primarily using the roadshows to launch new plasma and projector products. We expect to get at least 200 dealers attending the events.”
The roadshows are being held in Manchester, Dublin and Edinburgh, and will showcase NEC’s new high-definition plasma screens for the commercial and home cinema markets, among other products.
Darren Pitt, corporate sales manager at reseller Matrix Display Systems, said: “We’ve been selling NEC products for 10 years and find it very supportive. NEC is also very competitive in terms of pricing. The roadshows are a good idea but it would be nice if there was one in the south.”
