Email management vendor Mimecast has extended its partner programme to include Alliance, Technology and System Integrator Partnerships.
Mimecast claims to have more than quadrupled sales in the first nine months of its fiscal year and said it is experiencing increased channel demand for its software as a service (SaaS) offering.
Julian Martin, director of business development at Mimecast said: “A distinct Alliance, Technology, and System Integrator aspect along with the core channel programme is necessary to properly support these partnerships.
“You will see a series of key partnerships over the coming quarters that will significantly broaden the go-to-market reach and access to Mimecast services.”
Alliance Partners include partnerships with both a technology and commercial engagement. Technology Partners are partnerships where Mimecast’s offerings can integrate with other vendor technology or where there is a complementary technology fit.
John Tyreman, director of IT at reseller Liberata, said: “We switched to Mimecast in March last year as we could easily see that it would reduce the cost of managing email, help improve internal processes and enforce compliance.
“In addition it also provides a commercial and technical advantage for our customer base and working with Mimecast in its Partner Programme has provided us with a great opportunity to pass this benefit onto our clients.”
Martin concluded: “IT departments are realising that running all hardware and software in-house is no longer realistic and are turning to their IT partner for guidance and to recommend new solutions.”
