The distributor said Falconstor’s data protection solutions will be allied to those in the Hitachi Data System (HDS) product range, allowing it to offer a complete data storage package.
David Galton-Fenzi, group sales and marketing director at Zycko, said: “FalconStor’s solutions are the best match on the market for Hitachi’s leading storage product set and will result in a unified product that we expect to address the current gap in virtualisation solutions for mid-sized companies.”
Guillaume Imberti, vice president and general manager of Falconstor’s EMEA operations, said: “Through this partnership with Zycko, we will enable resellers and solution providers to deliver proven technology that meets the data protection and recovery needs of the new datacentre.”
Chris Sweetapple, director of alliance partnerships at HDS, added: “We are very pleased with the alliance as we see FalconStor as an excellent front-end fit for our storage solutions.”
