Michael Potter, co-founder and president of Esprit Telecom, will leave the company after its $4.1 billion acquisition by US carrier Global Telesystems Group (GTS). Potter has been employed for eight years at Esprit and is leaving to start a venture capital firm to fund internet projects in Europe.
