German security vendor Team2Work is launching in the UK and is looking for channel partners.
Team2Work’s USB-based encryption appliance targets firms with between one and 200 users.
Consultancy firm IT-PostConsult has been tasked with recruiting a channel on behalf of Team2Work.
Rainer Schmidt, consultant at IT-PostConsult, said: “We are looking for system integrators and resellers. We would like to get about 100 on board.”
Schmidt added that the vendor also plans to recruit four UK distribution partners.
However, Clive Longbottom, service director at Quocirca, said: “Retro-fit security devices were big a couple of years ago. But now some vendors are building computers with built-in fingerprint recognition, which blows Team2Work’s products out of the water. It might appeal to the smaller SMEs, but that depends on the price.”
