Castleford-based Target is exclusive distributor for Biostar motherboards and claimed the Gigabyte contract would complement that partnership. The distributor will stock Gigabyte’s full range of motherboards and VGA cards from the beginning of April.
“We surveyed our customers on which brand they would like us to add to our existing range and Gigabyte came out on top by a significant margin,” said Target sales director Adrian Macklin.
“We believe that by including the brand in our offer we are both strengthening our position in the motherboard market and giving our customers what they have asked for. Gigabyte is looking to grow their UK business and believe that we are the right vehicle to achieve this.”
