InTechnology has become Hewlett-Packard's (HP's) second network management software distributor, as the vendor tackles under-distribution issues in the UK.
The firm joins Compelsolve as a UK distributor, in a move that will see it extend its existing relationship with HP.
"We already sell HP storage hardware and have been using OpenView on our managed services for over three years," said Mark Jarvis, divisional director of marketing at InTechnology.
The deal is an addition to InTechnology's enterprise software business, but also supports the firm's intention to move into the networking equipment sector.
Paul Hodgetts, director of HP Software in the UK, admitted the business was "under-distributed". "InTechnology will give us reach into a broader VAR base," he said.
